Introduction

The fluoro-resin tubes have a highly non-adhesive, hydrophobic surface, which prevents adhesion of dirt, scale and slime and retains their high performance. All parts in contact with water to be treated are made of corrosion proof resin, and are therefore safe and durable. The external radiation system enables optimum control of water flow, avoiding short pass flow. Simple system construction with few sealing parts allows easy maintenance and lamp replacement.

Because optically transparent fluoro-resin can disperse incident rays in all directions, and allows a ray irradiated at a small angle on the surface to penetrate the tube, UV energy is efficiently utilized.

Water tubes in this series are made of an optically transparent fluoro-resin which excels in non-ad hesive, damp-proof, light-dispersion qualities. “Flonlizer” has been developed to sterilize large amount of low level waste water with high contamination. Compared with sterilization processes using chlorine or ozone, the UV process is more versatile, easy to operate and safe. It can replace the chlorine process for discharged waste water treatment because it does not cause any serious chemical reactions or changes in color, taste or odor, and does not generate suspected carcinogenic organic chlorides such as trihalomethanes.
